This policy explains what personal data GHISAI collects when you visit ghisai.in or buy from us, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000. GHISAI is a brand of AK Tech, Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, India ("we", "us").

1. What we collect

• Order details: name, phone number, email, shipping and billing address, items bought, order history.
• Payment details: handled by our payment partners. We never see or store your full card number, UPI PIN or bank login.
• Messages: anything you send us by email, WhatsApp, Instagram or our contact form.
• Newsletter: your email if you join our list.
• Device and usage data: IP address, browser, device type, pages viewed, collected through cookies and similar tools.

2. Why we use it

• To process, ship, and support your order, including COD confirmation calls or messages.
• To handle exchanges, refunds and complaints.
• To send drop announcements, only if you opted in. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• To prevent fraud and fake COD orders.
• To understand what works on our site and to show our ads to the right people.
• To meet legal duties such as tax and accounting records.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share only what each partner needs to do its job:

• Shopify, which hosts our store.
• Payment gateways, to take your payment.
• Courier and logistics partners, to deliver and track your order.
• Advertising and analytics partners such as Meta and Google, through cookies and pixels, to measure and target our ads.
• Authorities, if the law requires it.

Some partners may store data outside India, with safeguards in line with applicable law.

4. Cookies

We use cookies to keep your bag working, remember preferences, and measure visits and ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The store will still work, but some features may not.

5. How long we keep it

We keep order and invoice records for as long as tax and accounting laws require (usually 8 years). Other data is kept only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, then deleted.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
• correct or update it;
• delete it, where we are not required by law to keep it;
• withdraw consent for marketing at any time;
• nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf.

7. Children

Our store is meant for people aged 18 and above. If you are under 18, please use it with a parent or guardian's consent.

8. Security

We use the security built into Shopify and our payment partners, including encrypted checkout. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send sensitive details like card numbers over chat or email.

9. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
